2016 Volkswagen Passat GT Concept
Category : 2016 Cars
Around the rear, the Passat GT gets black-colored badging, taillight surrounds, a thin trunk-mounted black spoiler, bumper trim, and a dual exhaust system. We don’t know what Volkswagen has stuck under the hood, but on the outside, the Passat GT concept looks a whole lot like the Jetta GLI. It shares a similar, more aggressive front end compared to the standard Passat, complete with shiny black plastic and fender strakes matching the Golf GTI. The grille is also black, positioned beneath a new red stripe, to match the window surrounds, black-trimmed wheels, and mirror caps.
Combining fresh styling updates with the powerful 280-hp VR6® engine, the Passat GT concept previews a potential addition to the Passat lineup. The concept was created by Volkswagen’s North American Engineering and Planning Center in Chattanooga based on extensive feedback from U. Will unveil the Passat GT concept, designed by the company’s North American engineering hub in Chattanooga, Tenn. This week at Automobility LA, Volkswagen of America, Inc. Customers and dealers.
